Frequently asked questions

When should the notice go up?

Early December at the latest, so regulars can plan. Add the changed hours to your Google profile as special opening hours too.

How does the subscription work, and how do I cancel?

For the subscription you sign in without a password: with a 6-digit code by email or with Google. Your drafts are then saved in your account, on up to three signed-in devices. It renews every month. You can cancel any time to the end of the paid month, in your account or at “Verträge hier kündigen”. It only covers signs, each site has its own subscription.

Which paper and which format?

A4 portrait suits doors and shop windows, A5 counters and tables, A4 landscape wide notices, A3 large windows. Laminated or in a clear sleeve, the sign lasts much longer.

How do I get an image for my Google profile or Instagram?

Under “Format” choose “Square”, or “Portrait” for Stories and WhatsApp status. Then download as an image. The image always has the format you have just chosen.

What do I get for €3.99 incl. VAT and for €9.99 per month incl. VAT?

For a one-off €3.99 incl. VAT you download the sign you just designed without watermark, as PDF and image. No account needed: your access link works for one year on up to three devices. Later changes get a watermark again. With the subscription for €9.99 per month incl. VAT all signs are watermark free, in every format and however often you change them.

Can the sign itself be in German?

Yes. Under “Format” you switch the sign language between German, English, Turkish and Russian, independent of this page. Heading, note, weekdays and the other labels change with it, as long as you have not edited them yourself.

I haven’t received an email. What can I do?

Please check your spam folder first. Mark the email as “Not spam” there so future emails arrive directly. Our emails come from zugang@schilderstellen.de. Nothing there either? Write to kontakt@schilderstellen.de.
